Stray Kids – Clé: LEVANTER: Letting Go to Find Yourself

Released in December 2019, Clé: LEVANTER marks a turning point for Stray Kids—not just musically, but emotionally. As the final installment in the Clé series, this mini album captures the feeling of release and acceptance. The word Levanter refers to a strong wind that sweeps across the Mediterranean, and that metaphor carries throughout the album: sometimes, you have to let go and move with the wind to discover who you truly are.

Feel & Themes

Levanter is all about growth through loss. With the departure of a member prior to the release, the album carries a weight of change and emotional honesty. Tracks like “Levanter” and “Sunshine” explore what it means to accept that some things can’t be controlled—and that’s okay. Stray Kids explore themes of identity, independence, and emotional maturity, showing how strength can come from surrender.

While previous albums were filled with defiance and struggle, Clé: LEVANTER feels like a breath of clarity. It’s not the end of the journey—it’s the moment you stop running, stand still in the wind, and realize you’ve already found your way.
